Quality, functionality and sustainability are of paramount importance to us.
Of course we already do a lot in the field of sustainability through the choices we make with regard to the raw materials and fabrics that we use for our clothing. But it doesn’t end here as far as Olamana Fashion is concerned.
We use 100% compostable mail bags to send our clothing. The bags are made of corn starch and can be thrown away with the organic waste. You can even just put them in your own compost pile in the garden. Bacteria in the compost pile will completely break down the bags within 180 days. In a commercial composting plant it even takes only 90 days for the bags to completely decompose.
Of course you also have to do something for this yourself. Do not dispose of our shipping bags in the plastic waste or normal household waste!
In addition, it is useful if you as a customer consciously buy your items.
Although we like to use so-called CO2 neutral transport partners, prevention is better than cure. Try to avoid unnecessary returns by checking the size charts and measure your size! Check our article about measuring your size.
Also when you open your 100% compostable poly mailer bag, do it the right way! If your item is not quite the right size or it is not quite your color, you can reuse the bag and return it to us. We have provided our bags with two adhesive strips. One for us to send the items to our customers and a second one for customers to use when returning items.
